MIDLAND The Midland Rockhounds have invited David Watts, president of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, to throw out the first pitch on Aug. 28.

The team plans to welcome back university students with an "all-you-care-to-eat" picnic, calling it "UTPB College Night."

The game against the San Antonio Missions begins at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 28 at Citibank Ballpark.

Picnic tickets are $13 can be bought at the UTPB Student Life office.
